ROSTERS:

Linda wanted me to remind everyone that rosters are due for the upcoming season. If you have a large agency, one for the entire year will suffice. 

PRE-WEST POINT INFORMATION - here's some important stuff you need to know if you're planning on attending the track & field event at West Point this year....your group will HAVE to attend and participate in the MANDATORY Time Trials (another Track & Field event) at Monroe-Woodbury High School on 14 April, 2012, beginning at 12 noon and ending at or before 5pm.  This event allows us the opportunity to get accurate times/distances for your athletes in ALL of the events in which they SHOULD be currently training.  At the event, they will have the opportunity to participate in up to four individual events PLUS a relay.  If you do NOT attend this event, your athletes will NOT be eligible to partake in the West Point Spring Games.  Please feel free to email Ellen Pikula or Linda Efraimsen or call us at 845.765.2497.

NEXT WEEKEND

10-12 FEBRUARY - our athletes are off to Rochester for SONY Winter Games.  We have a contingent of 56 athletes and coaches traveling north-west for the planned festivities.  Having just been in that part of the state, I hope it chills a bit more and they get hit with more snow soon, as it was lacking in the white department just three days ago!  We have two floor teams, floor skills athletes, snow shoers, Nordic skiers and an alpine skier attending the event.  Should be a great time for all parties! 

25 FEBRUARY - SUMMER COACH's CONFERENCE

This will be held at White Plains High School.

10:05-10:45AM - Around the Region

10:45-12:45PM - Sport Specific/Advanced Training

12:45-1:30PM    - LUNCH

1:30 - 3:00PM    -  General Session (new coaches only)
